Automatic Update Scheduling allows you to set a time to run the WordPress update crons (which are defaulted to 12 hours). With Automatic Update Scheduling, you can run the updates whenever you want.
You can set the update schedule as follows:
- Every 12 hours (WordPress default) with a custom time
- Daily with a custom time
- Weekly with a custom day and time
- Fortnightly with a custom day, time, and week
- Monthly with a custom day and time
